1st and 2nd Grade In-House Rec Clinic (Boys and Girls)

The 1st and 2nd Grade Clinic is a clinic division for 1st and 2nd grade Rockaway Township boys and girls.  The clinic runs from December through March and introduces the children to the game of basketball.  The initial sessions include basic fundamentals and simple drills. The later sessions include scrimmage between the teams that are run by the coaches. Teams are co-ed unless the number of players registered allows us to split the teams into all boys or all girls. The number one goal is for the kids to have fun!  This level uses the junior size ball, 27.5" and 8 foot baskets.

3rd Grade In-House Rec Division (Boys)

The 3rd Grade Division is a league for 3rd grade Rockaway Township boys.  The league runs from November through March and continues to teach the children the game of basketball. At this level the children scrimmage other teams in the division.  No scores are recorded.  This level uses the junior size ball, 27.5" and 10 foot baskets.

4th Grade In-House Rec Division (Boys)

The 4th Grade Division is a league for 4th grade Rockaway Township boys.  The league runs from November through March and further continues to teach the children the game of basketball. Teams are drafted by the coaches after players are evaluated.  Teams play other teams in the division and the games are officiated by RTBB referees.  Scores are recorded.  This level uses the woman's size ball, 27.5" and 10 foot baskets.

5th/6th Grade In-House Rec Division (Boys)

The 5th/6th Grade Division is a league for both 5th and 6th grade Rockaway Township boys.  The league runs from November through March. Teams are drafted by the coaches after players are evaluated. Additional rules are added such as allowing pressing at the end of both halves.  Teams play other teams in the division and the games are officiated by RTBB referees.  Scores are recorded.  This level uses the woman's size ball, 28.5" and 10 foot baskets.

7th/8th Grade In-House Rec Division (Boys)

The 7th/8th Grade Division is a league for both 7th and 8th grade Rockaway Township boys.  The league runs from November through March. Teams are organized by the coaches after players are evaluated. Teams play other teams in the division and the games are officiated by RTBB referees.  Scores are recorded.  This level uses the men's size ball, 29.5" and 10 foot baskets.

5th to 8th Grade Travel Division (Boys)

5th through 8th grade boys can try out for the Rockaway Township Boys Travel basketball team.  The teams play other towns in the Jersey Basketball League (JBL).  Tryouts are in October.  For more information, please visit the Travel page.
