Player Evaluation and Team Selection Dates

Please read this message carefully as we have made some changes to the player evaluation/team selection dates for some divisions.  We apologize for any confusion and appreciate your understanding as this was done to avoid conflicts with other sports and school activities.

The latest evaluation schedule information is now as follows: 

  • 4th Grade Boys Division will begin at 6:15 PM on Friday 11/17.
  • 7th/8th Grade Boys Division will follow, at ~7:30 PM on Friday 11/17.
  • 5th/6th Grade Boys Division will start at 5:00 PM on Saturday 11/18.
    • For all of these Divisions:
      • Evaluation sessions will be held in the Old/Stage Gym at Copeland.
      • All registered players will be assigned to a team.  Evaluation session participation is not required but is recommended.
      • 10 players from each age group will be scheduled to participate together for ~10 minutes.  Specific player times will be sent by email later today or tomorrow.
      • Teams will be selected by coaches during a division draft immediately afterwards and practices may start the following week.
  • There are no evaluations for players in the 1st/2nd Grade Boys & Girls Clinic and 3rd Grade Boys Division, Teams will be assigned by Division Directors after registrations are closed on 11/21.
  • We will be holding open gym evaluations and a draft to select players for HS Rec teams.  More details will be shared before registrations are closed on 11/28.
