In-House Rec Registration Dates Are Finalized

Players – DON’T MISS YOUR CHANCE!

  • Registration for all In-House Recreation division is still open.
  • Final closing dates are confirmed and coming up soon:
    • Girls and Boys Grades 1/2 Clinic & & Boys Grade 3 = Closing Tuesday, November 21st
    • Boys Grades 4, 5/6 and 7/8 divisions closing next Tuesday, November 14th
    • Boys High School Grades 9-12 = Closing Tuesday, November 28th
  • Registration Notes:
    • Although registration for the RT Girls Program has closed, our Clinic registration is still open for girls in grades 1-2.
    • We assign boys’ and girls’ to separate teams / divisions and are planning to do that again this year as long as there are enough players registered.
    • Our High School Rec Registration will remain open beyond Thanksgiving break to allow time for High School Varsity, JV and Freshman team selections.
    • With this extended registration time, we have not yet determined division and team structure.   The number of players from each grade will largely determine the outcome.
  • We need all players to register as soon as possible so we can complete our season planning.

Coaches – WE NEED MORE HELP!!

  • For most divisions, there are more players / teams than coaches to fill rosters.
    • All volunteers who would like to coach in any division must also register.
      • Coaches must be at least 18 years old and only need to be RUTGERS certified.
      • If you are not certified, please contact the Rockaway Township Recreation Department to get more information about upcoming classes in our area.
    • Closing dates for each division will generally follow same schedule as players.
  • Please consider volunteering and register soon so our kids can have the best possible experience this season.
